I witnessed a rap battle last night at the UNION STATION....SOUNDCHECK, BABY WITH
DJ PROMINENT AND SKIP RIPKIN!!!! The environment was cool plus earlier GOON SQUAD
did they thing and put on a good show. But I must make something known......Serious
Why do people think that they can bring a gang of their close friends when they know they can't rap
and bogard battles...IT IS NOT A POPULARITY CONTEST....As you know I hate on no independent
artist what so ever....but hip hop is not for everyone...My man ALL GOOD can speak on this topic clearly
because it seems like he is always in this situation....Dude is a sick battle rapper (also take note of Kats like
Tecnyqu , C Nosious, and Divine) and he faced this dude....also I have to add this....I beat this dude last year
at Monarch sponsored rap battle at 32 Bleu...no hating, he just didn't bring it...nor did he last night but what
he did bring was his friends and family...All Good served him up nicely, no competition but had to go twice because old dude had a screaming section not a LISTENING SECTION...a screaming section. Get established first....Come by yourself and earn the crowd like you are supposed to....Now you know and knowing is half the battle....
